2021
Preamble:
This project was operationalized during the height of COVID-19 in Vancouver, BC. Our investigations took several twists and turns while we noticed new trends, experiments and initiatives coming from the artistic community.
As many artists shifted to digital formats, we felt the urgency to discover and understand different models, solutions and formats.
The impacts of this project will be felt in the sector for many years to come.
Project Proposition
Small Stage will take our digital learnings and prototypes to the next level. Our experience with Live and Digital pipelines puts us in a perfect position to scale up our projects to include more artists and ideas into our collaborations, expanding access to shared ideas and goals, while building our own expertise by harvesting our collaborators' experiences, viewpoints and requirements to expand our perspectives and directives.
This project has two key phases-
Research + Integrate web based AR and VR experiences into our current pipeline.
Further develop digital solutions that have easy access = great usability = better engagement
Our goal is to apply our knowledge and past experience to create immersive experiences using web-based technology in order to create innovative solutions.
Please check out our blog below that outlines various discussions and research that was done.
