Performance Playback software and programming Workshop

Dance creators workshopped how to program the Fun Palace using Qlab, including lights, music and projections; all were cued accordingly to the show order, during the performance. To make everything work properly, 2 lights, the projector, 2 speakers and a MacBook Pro were used (QLAB is only compatible with Mac OS systems. The projector was directly connected to the computer through a USB cable, the lights were connected with an open DMX Ethernet box and the speakers were connected to the computer through a small mixer. No multi-channel operability was required as a stereo mix was used for all music.
