Movement therapy is Ashley’s personal ethos. Following two car accidents in two years, Ashley discovered Pilates as part of her physiotherapy and rehabilitation. A professional belly dancer and instructor, she quickly realized the benefits pilates brought to her performance and began incorporating Pilates into both her daily life and her students’.

This physiotherapy assistant and movement junkie has a keen interest in women’s health and is drawn to pilates for how it strengthens and tones, increases pelvic floor and core stability, and relaxes the mind; all things that everyone benefit from!

Explore creative movement through developed exercises and tasks focused on finding the deepest parts of yourself. Class is a journey of spontaneity and trust sharing your authentic voice through dance. Different from learning choreography, improv guides you to tell your own unique story through a series of tools supported by the music that guides your soul. Let’s move in new ways while expanding our minds and body awareness together.  All levels welcome.

2pm ~ Ballet Barre

barre (French pronunciation: ​[baʁ]) is a stationary handrail that provides support for people during various types of exercise. Barres are used extensively in ballet training and warm up exercises, where such exercises are commonly referred to as barre work. In a ballet class, barre may also refer to the part of the class that involves barre work. Barres are also used for warm up exercises in other types of dance, as well as in general fitness programs
