Jessica Dawn Keeling
Born In Toronto, Jessica spent early years immersed in dance, music and theatre.
She currently lives and works in Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples.
Their ever-changing relationship and career in Dance has brought her to over 30 countries, memorable stages, Film and Television.
A few projects that remain close to her heart include her work with Linda Garneau and the Helix Dance Project, "Becoming" (Wandering Eye Productions) and "West Side Story" (Stratford Shakespeare Festival). In the world of Film, they have been delighted to to be working with the choreography team and part of the cast of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, Schmigadoon, SEE , Grease ROPL, and many more.

Questions from Small Stage:
How do you feel when you dance?
~ If i am alone, Liberated. With others, Connected. In performance, sheesh, like the little pressure release on a stove top coffee percolator.
What kind of dance do you do?
~ Ouf, they are many. Initially, Ballet, Jazz, Theater, Tap, Jazz funk and range of street styles. More recently, Contemporary, Contact improvisation & Odissi.
When did you start dancing?
~ In my baby bouncer.
What artist or person has been your greatest inspiration? and why?
~ Linda Garneau, for modelling to me how one can become music.
