Cori Caulfield
Cori “Caulfield has created some of the most memorable moments of contemporary dance in Canada,” (The Vancouver Sun) as a choreographer and performer, while founding a highly respected performing arts academy in Port Moody.
Cori has toured extensively with her “meticulously crafted solos” (The Globe and Mail) in Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Asia; and instructed and choreographed for Ballet BC (through MovEnt); the response (Amber Funk Barton); Electric Company Theatre; Dancestreams Youth Dance Company; several Canadian universities; etc.
Cori has also performed in the works of other renowned choreographers, including touring internationally for 6 years with Kidd Pivot.

How do you feel when you dance?
~ I have ADD but while I dance, or teach others to dance, I experience a glorious singular focus.
What kind of dance do you do?
~ Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Classical Chinese, Modern (certificate in Limon studies from Limon Institute New York), Contemporary (BFA Dance SFU)
When did you start dancing?
~ Ms Kirkwood told my Mom: "Bring her back when she's 4"
What artist or person has been your greatest inspiration? and why?
~ Pina Bausch, because I think she is also a great inspiration to other women who have greatly inspired me.
